The Criterion Summer

In the summer of 2011, Nathan challenged himself, both as a writer and cinema lover, to watch the first 100 films in the famed “Criterion Collection” in the span of 100 days and write his thoughts on each. Seeing everything from Akira Kurosawa to Samuel Fuller, the experience was like nothing he had tried before and, although difficult at times, it helped refine his daily writing skills and established in him a more solid foundation in both world and art house cinema.
