The Lady of the Lighthouse
Read by the poet:
The sea billows.
Waves like hands
grasping at the shore,
touching your feet,
clawing at your legs.
It breaths,
in and out,
growing in the horizon
and rushing for
where you stand.
It surrounds,
it suffocates,
and yet you remain,
unshaken,
the Lady of the Lighthouse.
