Ether

Read by the Poet :

I rise on the wind,
the ground losing its purpose,
expanding, growing, filling the ever deepening horizon,
and yet, my eyes soon fog.

I am in the unknown,
a limbo between normality and the unbound.
The ground dissolves into vapor,
and a new world is born.

I float and look at the past below.
How small the large seems,
when looked upon through the ether.
Mountains like ripples and the canyon less grand.

I slowly descend, gently touching down on reality.
It is for the best I say,
for gravity makes me human,
but the sky allows me to dream.
